Jaimi, or Toes, as her

teammates know her by

is entering her 3rd season.

Toes plays as a corner

back and receiver for the

team. Most nights during

the week, you can find her doing some type of sporting activity, whether its slowpitch softball, volleyball, or cheering on either her brother while racing or cheering on her Cowboys.

Toes embraces her inner cowgirl listening to country music and always wearing her boots, even taking tryouts to a new level running a 40 in boots last fall.

On game days, Toes always makes certain to have on her San Francisco Giants t-shirt and her shamrock necklace.

2012

So far 2012 is a whole new world. Lots of new faces and lots of people ready to learn the sport I have grown to enjoy. There seems to be a growing interest in women's football and I'm hoping we can get the town of Des Moines, as well as the whole state to catch on. Its always fun to begin a new season and start with baby steps for the rookies. This year, I'm learning a few things as well which makes it a better experience for me. I'm sure we will have some bumps in the road, but so far, 2012 is off to a great start!

Front Office

The front office staff of the Iowa Crush has been operating since 2005. It is the longest running women's football organization in the state of Iowa. Since the formation of the team, we have continue to experience success and growth year after year.

Mike Dale, Head Coach

Coaching: Entering his 3rd year as the head coach of the Iowa Crush. He has accumulated 7 years of coaching experience; starting as an assistant offensive/defensive line coach at Johnston High School from 2005-2007. He moved on to the same position at Roosevelt High School in Des Moines in 2008. In 2009 he was promoted to Head Sophomore coach where he led the Roughriders to a metro conference championship with an undefeated league record of 4-0-1.

College: Letter winner that played on the offensive line at Drake University from 2002-2005. He was a member of the 2005 Pioneer Football League championship team that finished with a 10-2 record.

High School: 2 time letter winning offensive/defensive lineman at Davenport West High School in Davenport, IA. He earned 2001 Quad City Area All Metro honors as an offensive guard, and was a Mississippi Athletic Conference All Conference Offensive Lineman in 2002.

Hemie Collier, Defensive Backs & Wide Receivers Coach

Coaching: Coach Collier is in his first season with the Crush. Coach Collier currently serves as the defensive backs and assistant track and field coach at Simpson College, Collier also serves as a diversity recruiter for the college. Prior to Simpson, Coach Collier coached defensive backs at Cornell College for the 2008 season and served as Luther Colleges junior varsity defensive coordinator and assistant defensive backs coach for the 2006 and 2007 seasons .

College/ High School: Collier also attended Luther College, were he graduated with a BA of history in 2007. He played football for three seasons with the Norse, splitting time as a wide receiver and tailback. Coach Collier is originally from Waukegan ,IL

Gerry Woolman, Coaching Assistant

Gerry is in his first season assisting with the Crush. He was a Tight End and Defensive End for Lincoln High School in the 1980s, after growing up in Colfax, Iowa where he also attended school and played football. In 1984 - 1988 Gerry was in the Utah Army National Guard as a Special Forces Parachute Rigger. He currently is in his senior year studying Sports Management at Grand View University with a Marketing Minor. Gerry is also a member of the North American Society for Sports Management and Phi Beta Lambda at Grand View University.

Cheerleaders

Rob Langloss, Cheer Director

Rob Joined the Crush team is 2008 to head up the Crush cheer squad. Over the past 2 season, Rob has continued to help in the growth of the Cheer program. Rob heads up fundraisers to raise money for uniforms for the squad. The team practices regularly and take pride in cheering on their team at all home games.

Also, feel free to add in the message any questions or comments you may have. If you want to be a player, write a few sentences about yourself and any athletic history or a position you are interested in. If you are interested in coaching, let us know your coaching history and what area you'd like to help with. Any other position, let us know a specific area of operation you are interested in helping with (game day, public relations, fundraisers, ect.)
